Q1. Where do you source your ingredients from?

Reliable suppliers from Malaysia, Singapore, India, Australia, France, Spain, Germany, USA and UK

Q2. Are your products organic?

We cannot claim/ensure that all our ingredients are organic – as it means the entire farming process must be organic. As our ingredients comes from different sources, we cannot guarantee all are grown organically

Q3. What other ingredients do you use in your soap?

Depending on the type of soap, we use different ingredients to cater to different skin types. We will indicate the suitable skin types and ingredients on every soap label and product page. Do check out for that before you cart out the product.

Q4. What do you mean by “Handcrafted with Natural Ingredients”?

Natural ingredients mean we ensure there’s no artificial substances to our soaps, such as synthetic fragrances, dyes, and preservatives. We hope to share the benefits of using “chemical free” soap to nourish our skins – the least we can reward our skin!

Product

Q1. How long does it last?

Standard bar of soap (100gram) can last anywhere between 3 weeks or a few months, depending on how often and how extensively you use it.

Q2. What can I do to make my soap last longer?

​Prior to opening, store the soap in a cool, dry and shaded place. Once you begin using it, ensure your soap remains dry between uses. You may put your soap on a soap dish or soap net to allow water to be drained off.

Q3. What’s the soap expiry date?

It should last about 24 months with proper storage procedures. However, do check out if the soaps look mouldy, does it smells bad? If it does, please do not use it!

Q4. Can I use the same bar of soap for my body and face?

Our soaps are handcrafted with natural ingredients that are safe for body and face usage! However your facial skin may have different needs from the rest of your body, you may want to choose a suitable soap specially for your face.

Q5. Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Skin sensitivity is often caused by exposing to artificial chemicals, mostly used in our commercial soaps.  Frequent usage of cold processed soap can help to alleviate the problem. You may test the soap on a small area of your skin and wait for a day to see if there’s any sign of skin irritatations.

Q6. Is it suitable for everyone?

Cold-processed soaps are suitable for everyone. However still look out for our ingredient labels as different people has different reaction to the ingredients like essential oils.

Q7. Will there be allergic reaction?

Unless you are allergic to specific ingredients used in our soap (e.g. to one of the essential oils), there should not be any adverse reaction. Some users may, however, experience some sort of allergic reaction initially. This may be due to prolonged exposure to chemicals causing an imbalance in the skin condition. The skin is still adjusting and beginning to heal itself, thus the imbalance in secretion. Do give it some time, remember the skin takes 28 days to regenerate itself.

Q8. What effects will there be?

Depending on the type of soap used, there will be a range of effects, but definitely for the better! For a start, your skin should feel clean but never tight and squeaky. Spots and blemishes should slowly disappear and oil secretion should become balanced. Certain soaps can even help to combat skin infections such as ringworm and eczema. However, all this cannot be achieved overnight but you should see some improvement by your first bar.

Shipping & Refunds

Q1. What are the types of payment?

We accept all major credit card and debit card via Stripe secured payment gateway. At the moment, we do not accept cash on delivery unless the order is above $200. Please send us an email at soaprise.enquiry@gmail.com if you need bulk orders.

Q2. How long does it take to deliver?

You can opt either Singpost normal mail or Registered mail. It will take about 3 – 5 working days for normal mail and 2 – 3 working days for Registered mail.

Example for Singpost – If you order on Friday after 4 pm, you order will be mailed out only on Monday (Saturdays/Sundays are non-working days) and your package will arrive between Wednesday and the following Monday depending on Mr Postman!

Q3. Do you ship out of Singapore?

At the moment, we only ship within Singapore. If you are interested in our products and are located outside of Singapore, please email us at soaprise.enquiry@gmail.com  with your order and we will get back to you within 3 working days.

Q4. If the soap is not suitable and causes side effect, can I make a refund?

Sure! If the soap causes irritation, please stop using it immediately and send us an email to soaprise.enquiry@gmail.com We will investigate and update you accordingly.

Otherwise, you have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the packaging and in the same condition that you received it. Also with a proof of receipt. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Note: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Items that have been opened and used are not eligible for returns and refunds. Sale items are not eligible for returns and refunds. Items that have been damaged in the process of shipping or due to mishandling on the buyer’s part will not be eligible for returns and refunds
