Top 7 Uses of Hydrosols Floral Water

What Are Hydrosols?

Hydrosols are also called Floral Water or Distillate Waters. Hydrosols are very similar to essential oils but they aren’t as concentrated and are typically steam distilled by the process of extracting essential oils. Typically from botanical material like Rose, Ginseng and Lavender.
Unlike essential oils that should be diluted prior to application to the skin, hydrosols are much gentler than their essential oil counterparts and can generally be used directly on the skin without further dilution.
Hydrosols can be used in place of water in creating natural fragrances, lotions, creams, facial toners and other skin care products.

Suitable for the following use:

  1. Facial Toner

Can be used as natural facial toners that act as astringents to help close the skin pores, making a smooth finish for application of other skin care and makeup products.

  2. Hydration

Misting with Floral Water to moisturize and hydrate the skin for 24 hours.

  3. Reduce Puffiness

Spritzing onto a compress and applying to those puffy areas under the eye, will reduce the swelling and leave you looking fresh and rested again.

  4. Stay Refresh

Take your spray of floral water with you to refresh and hydrate during the day. Those air conditioned offices, or being outside in the hot sun will have your skin loving you for a refreshing mist from time to time.

  5. Set Make Up

Spritzing your face is the final touch for your make up routine. You’ll find your make up will look fresher longer.

  6. After Shave

Why exactly Red Palm Oil and Castor Oil?

Ingredient: Red Palm Oil

What is Red Palm Oil?

Palm oil contains the hard to find toctrienols, which are members of the vitamin E family. The common form of vitamin E, tocopherol, has long been used to treat many skin ailments and is found in many anti-aging products. Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that helps the skin to fight free radicals that damage the skin and cause fine lines and wrinkles.

How does it benefit our skin?

Effectively remove oil and dirt from hair and skin –  It also contains a refatting agent that helps restore the hair and skin natural oils, most soaps and shampoos strip away letting moisture escape.

Ingredient: Castor Oil

What is Castor Oil?

Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the castor oil plant. The common name “castor oil”, from which the plant gets its name, probably comes from its use as a replacement for castoreum, a perfume base made from the dried perineal glands of the beaver (castor in Latin).

How does it benefit our skin?

Fights Signs Of Aging – It penetrates deeply and stimulates the production of collagen. This, in turn, helps soften and hydrate the skin. It delays the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines and makes the skin smoother, softer, and younger.

Fades Blemishes – It is often used for fading blemishes and scars. The results won’t be visible overnight. It works slowly in this regard and needs to be used regularly to see prominent results.

Reduces Pigmentation – Its extremely good for clearing your skin of spots and marks. It is so effective that dermatologists recommend castor oil to treat uneven skin tone, spots, and marks because of its ability to reduce pigmentation. Castor oil is crammed with fatty acids, specifically omega-3 fatty acids. These omega-3s hydrate the skin, while stimulating the growth of healthy tissue, thus giving you a blemish-free and supple skin.

Over the days of curing, the natural color of Red Palm Oil lightens and develops whitish spots. We love just how natural cold process soap can be and give us surprises at the very end.
